St Leonards Church

We are situated on the A33 between Reading & Basingstoke, just south of Sherfield on Loddon main village. The church is screened from the road by a small woodland and its driveway is opposite the turning to the Loddon School and Sherfield Garden Centre.

 

Directions from M4 (Junction 11):

 

Exit the M4 motorway at Junction 11. Take the A33 southbound, heading towards Basingstoke. After aprox 400yards you come to roundabout, go over this continuing on the A33 towards Basingstoke, the road is a dual carriageway. Continue on the A33 for approx 4 miles until you come to a second roundabout. Continue over this on the A33 heading towards Basingstoke, the road becomes a single carriage road. Continue south on the A33 for approx another 4 miles, you will come to a third roundabout (a left turn here would take you to the village of Sherfield on Loddon). Continue south on the A33 heading towards Basingstoke for approx 1/2 mile and turn right at Wildmoor Lane into the Church access drive which will lead to the car park.

 

Directions from M3 (Junction 6):

 

At the Motorway roundabout take the first exit towards Basingstoke/A339/Alton/A30/Reading/A33. At the Black Dam roundabout take the second exit onto A339 heading to Ring Road (N)/Newbury/A339/Reading/A33. Take the exit. At the roundabout take the third exit onto A33/Reading Rd. At the roundabout take the third exit onto the A33, heading towards Reading. Go through two roundabouts. Turn left at Wildmoor Lane into the Church access drive which will lead to the car park.
